The report of my death was an exaggeration.

The institutions of classical music seem to be coming down around us.  We’ve many times asked “Is Classical Music Dying?” and received mixed reports.  It’s our task as musicians to reshape ‘classical’ music into a 21st century art by emphasizing smart musicianship, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

The writers of this blog seek to advocate for classical and contemporary music in a market that seems disinterested and build a community around the music and musicians of our time. While we strive for greater footing, we attempt to answer the question, “where are we now?”

Currently, Where are we now? is staffed by:

  • Daniel Kozlowski, Co-Founder/Editor-in-Chief, Nashville Contributor
  • Hank Attaway, Co-Founder/Editor, Pittsburgh Contributor
  • Joe Sferra, Co-Founder/Editor, Columbus Contributor
  • Kyle Johnson, Boston Contributor
  • Chris Rayis, NYC Contributor
  • Melissa Littlepage, St. Louis Contributor
